Eligibility Criteria for East Coast Railway Recruitment :
- Educational Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10 th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Nationality : Indian
- Age Limit : Minimum and maximum age limit is 15 to 24 years as on 17.06.2017
- Age Relaxation : 05 years for SC/ST Candidates & 03 years for OBC Candidates
Job Location : Bhubaneswar (Odish)
Selection Process : Selection will be on the basis of merit. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of taking average of matriculation plus ITI (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) marks.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- through debit card / credit card / Internet Banking / e-wallets, etc. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST /PH/Women candidates.

- Educational Qualification :
- For Scouts : 10+2th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possess higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation) or A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories.
- For Guides Quota : 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Nationality : Indian
- Age Limit : minimum and maximum age limit is for Scouts 18 to 29 years and for Guides Quota 18 to 32 years
- Age Relaxation : 05 years for SC/ST Candidates & 03 years for OBC Candidates
Job Location : Bhubaneswar (Odisha)
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Written Test, Scouting Skill Assessment & Marks on certificates.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- through Demand Draft/Postal order in favour of FA & CAO, East Coast Railway payable at Bhubaneswar. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST /PH/Women candidates.
